2009 BCJALL All-Star Team Announced

The BCJALL announced its annual league award winners this past week and Nanaimo's Colton Clark was named to the 2nd Team All-Star.

In his 2nd season with the Jr. A Timbermen, Clark amassed 25 goals, 44 assists for 69 points in 19 games; with just 6 minutes in penalties. A dominant right handed shooter, Clark was moved to a transition player this season to make better use of his size and speed and it paid dividends at crucial times throughout the season.

2009 Team Award Winners

The Timbermen held its Annual Awards Banquet at the Nanaimo Legion Branch #10 located at 129 Harewood Road on Sunday July 26th.

The banquet was well attended by players, parents, friends and other family members. The award winners can be found by way of the navigation on the left of the page. Hover over 'Team', then move the mouse down to 'Awards', and then over to '2009 Awards' for this years recipients.

The Nanaimo Jr. A Timbermen also wished to thank all of the sponsors whom came on board this season, your support of the team is truly amazing and tremendously appreciated. Receiving a bouqet of flowers were: Margaret Meakes, Casey Mitchell, Rachael Bremner, Annette Noble, Toni Leies and Angie Maughan; for the extra time and work they put in at the arena and behind the scenes for the Timbermen.
