FRENCH TO SUIT UP FOR WARRIORS IN 2009/10 West Kelowna, BC – Head Coach and General Manager, Mark Howell, is pleased to announce the commitment of Max French for the 2009-10 season. Max, who hails from West Kelowna, played for the Okanagan Rockets of the BC Major Midget League. Last season, Max was a league all-star, while putting up 20 goals and 13 assists for 33 points. He is the first commitment by the Warriors. “We are thrilled to add Max to our team. He will be a key addition to our team for the next couple of seasons. He was one of the most dynamic forwards in the BCMML, and we are confident that he can make the transition into the BCHL and become an offensive threat.” Stated Howell. “It is a thrill to commit to such a respectable and professional junior team, with the icing on the cake being that it is my home town team, which I have dreamed of playing for the last 3 seasons. I am confident that I will develop under the tutelage of the Warriors coaching staff, and not only help the team strive to win a championship, but also move towards securing a NCAA scholarship.” Explained French. The Warriors family welcomes Max and his family to our team.
